How can we help?

It can take the search engines up to 6 months to fully register you. To increase the presence in search results for your site we recommend the following:

1. Go to Google Business and register your website there, fill out as much information as possible (the more complete your profile, the better your search results will be).
2. Submit your site to Bing by clicking here.
3. For the most current information and techniques, take a look at this Google search.
4. For images in website Content modules, be sure to add Alt Text. Not having this saved in your images will give negative results. The sight-impaired and AI reviews of your images will not know what the image is about unless there is Alt Text. For products and classes and other website modules that don't have a dedicated Alt Text field, the system uses the image title for Alt Text, so make sure you use clear, descriptive image titles on all of your images.

5. Make sure that the content of your site stays fresh; we recommend updating content on your major pages and refreshing any written content on a monthly basis at least. You want to be sure to do this for your homepage as well. Sites that do not change their content are seen by the search engines to be static and get poorer results.
6. You should start to see results within 90 days of all of the above.

We realize all of this can seem like a lot, but once you’re in the swing of things it should only take 4 – 8 hours or so per month.
