Follow these steps to require a customer phone number for web orders that use PayPal as the processor:

1. Log into your PayPal account.

2. Click the Gear icon in the upper right.

3. In the Account menu, click Seller Tools.

4. In the list of tools, click Website Preferences.

5. Scroll down to the Contact Telephone Number section and click to select the On (Required Field) option.

Your change is automatically saved and shoppers will be required to enter a phone number when they use PayPal to buy from you online.
