System Updates

August 30 – September 5, 2026

New

Nothing New This Week

Improved

Address Fields Added to Orders Export
The Orders export previously didn't include shipping address information, even though it's visible when viewing an individual order. We have added all six shipping address fields (both address lines, city, state, zip, and country) as columns to the Orders export, giving you full address data when working with order data outside the system.

Fixed

Rent to Own Exchange Increasing Rental Term and Incorrectly Dating Notes
We resolved an issue where exchanging a Rent-to-Own contract with a customer discount larger than the monthly payment could cause the rental term to increase on its own (12 months becoming 14, for example) with no way to correct it, and the exchange notes showed an internal ID instead of the contract ID along with the wrong date.

Rental Contracts Losing Their Tax Profile
We've fixed an issue where Online Rental Contracts and in-store Rental Contracts with nothing due at signing (no initial payment, or $0 tax at checkout) weren't saving a Tax Profile, which could stop tax from being charged on future payments even on taxable contracts. Checkout now falls back to pulling the Tax Profile from the transaction or other order items when it isn't found by jurisdiction, so contracts are correctly marked taxable going forward.

Rental Line Items Not Getting All Applicable Tax Jurisdictions
We've resolved an issue where Rental line items in the Register were only being charged one tax jurisdiction from a Tax Profile, typically defaulting to whichever jurisdiction was marked as default for products, even when the profile had multiple jurisdictions the rental should have been charged under. Rentals now calculate and apply all applicable tax jurisdictions from the profile, not just one.

Clientbook Sync Creating Duplicate Customers and Requiring Manual Sync
We resolved an issue where stores using the Clientbook integration were experiencing duplicate customer records and had to manually sync customer data back to the system rather than it happening automatically. We've added a self-healing daily auto-sync between Clientbook and your store, along with logic to prevent duplicate customer records from being created during that sync.

That's all for this week. Thank you for being part of the Music Shop 360 family. Take care, we love you!!
