Several important settings for your products are in the Advanced Settings tab, here is what you can configure.

Advanced Settings

1. Rental Contract Profile - If you use Rental Contracts, you will see this dropdown that will allow you to set the Rental Contract Profile for the product, if it is one you rent. Every product you plan to rent will need to have a profile associated with it.
2. Cost Depreciation Schedule - If you track depreciation for your rental inventory, you can set the depreciation schedule that would apply to the product using this dropdown.
3. Eligible for Discounts - You can toggle this on if you want discounts such as sale prices and coupon codes to apply to the product. If the toggle is grayed out as in the example above, the eligibility for discounts has been set by the Department the product is in and cannot be changed here.
4. Eligible for Reward Points - If you use the Rewards system and want the product to generate reward points for your customers, turn this on. If it is grayed out as above, the eligibility for rewards has been set by the Department the product is in and cannot be changed here.
5. Is a Kit - If you will be using the Assemble Kits tool to add components to the product, toggle this on.
6. Commissionable - If you want the product to generate commissions for your sales team, toggle this on.
7. Restricted Item - For products that have sensitive information, you can set them to be visible only to Administrator users with this setting.
